Iron Man Disks

My Iron man kits use a wooden disk instead of a PCB because of the costs of making a PCB. As a stop gap measure I'm using the laser cutter to cut the wood and at least mark the positions of where the components should go.
(Update, I've finally got the PCB's made so no more need for wooden disks, https://sites.google.com/site/msraynsford/ironmanarcreactors)

Height adjustment wheel

Sure this image is taken from someone else, but you'll have to trust me when I say I made one of these for my laser, It is much easier than the tiny knob inside the bed for height adjustment. Mine is 3mm clear acrylic and actual gear shaped.
Thanks to PhillyDee for the idea though (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:8936)

Working wooden gears

Drawn in inkscape using the render->gear option, tarted up a bit with some spokes and a hole through the middle, this was a test to see 1) If I could cut through the wood 2) Would the gears actually turn. Clearly the answer is yes to both.
